Calera: Before and After
Calera: Before and After
Barton Creek is one of our favorite areas: beautiful lots, unique residences, and thoughtful clients. Etch originally designed this remodel based on the client's desire to update the home for themselves; before the renovations commenced, the clients found another area of Austin that fit them perfectly and a house they couldn't turn down, Etch redesigned the house to sell. Special attention to details created an inviting sense of warmth and comfort in this remodel. Windows were added in the Great Room, and what a difference that made! The sparkling views of the backyard and ample natural light added to the space are unmistakable. Throughout the house, we specified paint-grade trim and cabinetry to brighten and modernize the home. Simple and natural materials were used to update this home, but there's a delicate balance to marry all of the elements together. We chose Cremo Bluette Marble for the kitchen and bar paired with Metroquartz Ashwood Quartz for the perimeter counters and Alyse Edwards backsplash tile. In the Master Bathroom, Asian Statuary Marble and a light color palette create a refined canvas and a drastic change. Along with the finishes, decorative lighting was also replaced. The Hudson Valley pendants in the Kitchen, Mitzi chandelier in the Breakfast Room, and Arteriors chandeliers in the Great Room really set the stage for the rest of the renovations. This was a collaboration that we truly enjoyed!
