This residence combines elements of contemporary architecture with the client’s personal eclectic style. Our challenge was to create a colorful, eclectic and edgy design for this new construction client, where every room has its own unique characteristics. From the pop of emerald in the dining room to the vibrant glossy red cabinets in the media room, we have lived true to that unique inspiration throughout the home. The mix of metals and hard surface selections throughout the house creates a unique environment for each room, yet keeps a level of consistency and flow from space to space. These elements, combined with the custom furnishings selected help to reiterate the client’s ultimate design vision: pops of bright color, modern/elegant lines and a mix of patterned accents.
Every piece of furniture in the house was hand-selected for the clients with their unique style and preferences in mind. The dining room showcases a custom live-edge walnut-slab dining table, sitting atop a custom Kyle Bunting hair-on-hide rug. In the Great Room, two Thayer Coggin “twiggy” chairs greet you as you enter the room, paired alongside a custom-finish Vanguard Coffee Table and velvet settee from Century Furniture. The Powder Room highlights a deep blue pattern on marble tile with brass fixtures and accessories. The Master Bedroom exudes elegance as you walk in to see a long-haired white Alapaca rug, with a glamorous cream and gold four-poster bed. The Master Bathroom features Alyse Edwards hexagon tile for the stunning tub wall and Dornbracht chrome faucets. Every design detail in this house was thoroughly executed to showcase and inspire the perfect mix of sophistication and luxury.
