Located in the heart of Austin, this remodel was one of our favorites – from the clients to the selections.
The original kitchen had a compact layout with minimal work surface area, which underutilized the open area to the far right where a second window was originally installed. Our design removed that second window, creating a symmetrical kitchen and increasing the work surface area significantly. The new kitchen feels open and spacious, as we also removed the wall between the kitchen and dining areas. Aesthetically, the clients desired a bright and inviting space with a hint of character. We achieved this by mixing chrome and brass finishes, white cabinets with a blue island, and a custom live edge dining table made locally.
