Pfister KBIS Vignette
Pfister × Etch Design Group
KBIS 2026 Showroom
When Pfister Faucets extended an invitation for Etch Design Group to serve as a design ambassador for their KBIS 2026 showroom booth, we said yes without hesitation. This was a rare and meaningful opportunity — to bring our design voice onto one of the most visible stages in the kitchen and bath industry, and to demonstrate how thoughtful material curation can transform a brand’s presence at the world’s largest trade show.
Being invited into Pfister’s world at KBIS was genuinely an honor. Trade show design is its own discipline — it has to work at a glance, read beautifully on camera, and feel considered in every detail. We loved the challenge.

What It Means to Design a Showroom Booth
KBIS — the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show — is North America’s premier trade event for design and construction professionals. Hosted annually in Orlando, Florida, it draws tens of thousands of architects, interior designers, contractors, and brand executives who gather to see what’s next in the industry. For manufacturers, it’s one of the highest-stakes moments of the year: the booth is the brand.
Pfister invited Etch Design Group to collaborate on the full material and finish specification for their showroom vignette — a complete bathroom environment built around Pfister plumbing. Our role was to curate every element surrounding their product: the tile, the vanity, the hardware, the wallcovering, the lighting, the textiles, the paint, the trim. The result needed to feel elevated, intentional, and immediately legible — not just as a beautiful bathroom, but as proof that Pfister belongs in the most thoughtfully designed spaces.
Our specification became the full design package — material selections, product keys, sources, pricing, stock status, rep contacts, and grout specifications — everything a contractor needs to execute with precision on a trade show timeline.
The Design Direction
The palette for this space is rooted in a tension we love: deep, moody green meets warm, handcrafted texture. Sherwin-Williams Foxhall Green (SW-9184) runs across the ceiling, crown moulding, chair rail, and scalloped trim — a saturated, enveloping tone that grounds the entire vignette and allows the materials to read against it with clarity. It’s a bold choice for a trade show environment, and exactly the kind of decision that stops traffic on a show floor.
Against that rich green, we layered materials that each carry their own warmth and artisanal quality — from Fireclay Tile’s Mustard Seed Matte ceramic on the vanity wall, to the custom-colored glossy ceramics from Pratt + Larson on the floor. The faucet — Pfister’s Hillstone 2-Handle in Polished Nickel — reads as a clean, refined counterpoint to the layered softness around it.
The wallcovering, Parker & Jules’ Bloomsbury Petite in Verdigris, brings a botanical elegance to the upper wall zone — a nod to the kind of considered, layered detail our clients at Etch expect in every project we take on.

What This Collaboration Meant to Us
At Etch Design Group, we approach every project — residential or commercial — with the same commitment: every material earns its place, every decision is intentional, and the whole adds up to something that feels unmistakably designed. Being trusted by a brand like Pfister to bring that lens to their KBIS presence was a genuine privilege.
Trade shows are fleeting — the booth goes up, it comes down — but the design thinking that goes into them is no different from what we bring to a client’s forever home. That’s exactly the standard we held for this space.
We’re grateful to Pfister for the partnership and to every trade rep, showroom, and vendor who helped us execute on a tight timeline. We’re already looking forward to what comes next.
