This home is nestled in a West Austin subdivision area, and a full remodel assisted in getting this space upgraded from its 60's vibe. We opened up the space, completely relocated the kitchen, added a new master bedroom, media room, upper floor area, covered patio, and garage. Our client was inspired by the Restoration Hardware aesthetic. We worked to keep the design very open, with clean lines, neutral tones and transitional furnishings. Overall it leans to a more modern feel in the common spaces. We worked with the architect and builder to completely relocate and remodel the kitchen for a more communal setting and functionality, including hardwood flooring, simple shaker drawers and doors, and convenient pull outs. In the office, we added a pop of color into the rug and a more personable client focused art wall.
