A lively and energetic space, this primary suite is full of color and pattern. Our client wanted to update her bedroom and bathroom but didn’t want it to feel disconnected from the style in the rest of the house which was built in the mid 1900’s. Our team focused on classic design elements as a nod to the home's traditional architecture, while adding modern colors and patterns.
The Schumacher wallpaper is a showstopper! The sequined trim paired with the green fabric on the shades and draperies adds another level of sophistication. Our client loves bold prints, antiques and wanted a space that is anything but cookie cutter. The design actually started around the windows, as she wanted a taller headboard, but the window placement limited the possibilities. We had the idea of a scalloped headboard to remain low underneath the windows but arch higher towards the center of the wall. We had the bed custom-made as it needed to be the perfect height in the middle to make the design work. The chair was existing to the client, as well as the antique light fixture. Our team loves mixing existing pieces with new design elements!
