Rosedale

Rosedale

The goal for this boy’s bathroom was to allow for childlike elements that would have also give a nod to traditional and classic design. The client and our team felt inspired from an industrial locker room style.

So, our designers incorporated classic elements with modern prints and whimsical accents to tie the design together. They used materials that would have been used originally in the house, an old bungalow, mixed with some funky, unexpected materials.

The result? A boy’s bath design that features some awesome, kid-friendly utilities. There is a lot of storage, a big trough style sink, and a bench to hang and chat. The lighting, industrial pendants contribute to the overall feel of the space. The coolest feature though? The interplay of wallpaper and tile.

The kitchen and bar were updated as well with colorful and modern tile, while still honing in on traditional elements and highlighting wood accents. The floor is original and was refinished. The office and laundry room finished off this extensive remodel, as wallpaper, color, and texture were all addressed.
