West Enfield

West Enfield

This new build was designed with the view in mind. It was clear, even from the first meeting, that it was a priority for our clients to have a view from the front door of the back wall of windows overlooking the backyard. The Etch team helped refine the design so that the window layout and selections provided optimal viewing. We added various architectural details to maintain interest between each space in the open floor plan. We opted for several ceiling details to add interest and texture. The result is beautiful!

In collaboration with our clients, we also added some unique elements. The hidden door leads to their Primary Bathroom, adjacent to the laundry room. This was a fun detail to design and collaborate with the builder on to create a fully integrated wood wall that featured a hidden door. Additionally, the dining room cabinets and bar cabinets, along with the grass cloth wallcovering selection at these two niches, were designed to marry the two ends of the dining room and create a visual completion of that space while maintaining the integrity of the open concept floor plan. Special details create a truly custom and personalized home.
